It’s all about chemistry this year! Listen and learn about the chemistry of storm water from industry experts from environmental laboratories, consultants, and storm water treatment vendors.

Keynote 1: The Chemistry of Storm Water for Industrial Facilities – Kick off this year’s theme “The Chemistry of Storm Water” with an exciting workshop in which chemists from WGR and McCampbell Analytical laboratories join up to do some cool chemistry experiments but also give a chemistry lesson applicable to anyone subject to the Industrial General Permit.

Keynote 2: The Chemistry of Storm Water for Municipalities – This year’s theme “The Chemistry of Storm Water” continues with another keynote session. This time we turn to Municipal NPDES Permits and talk about how chemistry plays an important role with these permits. WGR chemist and municipal permit experts will talk about using chemistry to detect sources of illicit discharges and watershed problems.

Keynote 3: The Chemistry of Storm Water for Construction Sites – This year’s theme “The Chemistry of Storm Water” continues with a third, and final, keynote session. Does chemistry happen at construction sites? You bet! WGR and Active Treatment Systems, Inc. chemists will talk about chemical processes at work at construction sites. We will look at pH, turbidity, and electrocoagulation.
