Overview

We’re big proponents of a three-part BMP strategy – source control, good housekeeping, and treatment controls.  Treatment should always be the last step in a BMP strategy, because it’s usually much easier to prevent materials from coming in contact with storm water than it is to remove those materials from storm water.

But many times, you have no other option than to implement some treatment controls.  In this 5-hour class, we’re bringing in a bunch of different storm water treatment professionals to teach you everything you need to know about treatment.  You’ll leave this class with a better understanding of your treatment options, when you should use treatment techniques, and which treatment tools are available for your facility to use.
